Questions
What is a floating teleprompter?
A teleprompter that stays on screen on top of your other apps. Float Prompter shows your script in a small window over the camera, so you can read it while you film in the app you already use.
Will the script show up in my video?
No. The window is only on your screen. The camera records what its lens sees.
How does it follow my voice?
It listens through the microphone and matches what you say to your script, so it moves at your pace and waits when you stop. The microphone only runs while the prompter is floating. Float Prompter doesn't record or save your voice.
What are the limits of Float Prompter?
It does not record or edit video. You film in Camera, TikTok, Instagram or any other camera app, so if you want one app that does the recording too, this is the wrong pick. Voice follow does not work for Chinese, Japanese or Thai scripts, which are written without spaces between words. Fixed speed works in any language.
